Style Inspiration for Prom 2018

Classic Tuxedo inspired by James Bond

For a formal dance, you can’t go wrong with the classic look that James Bond rocks in every movie.  A well-fitted black tuxedo with either a shawl or peak lapel will do a great job of imitating Bond’s style.  Complete the look with a black bow tie and cummerbund, double points if you learn how to tie a self-tie!

Colorful Tuxedo inspired by Ryan Gosling

The sweetheart of the big screen, Ryan Gosling, frequently rocks a colored suit to many a red-carpet event. Try a blue or burgundy tuxedo for a bold color choice that compliments your date’s dress instead of wearing a tie that perfectly matches the color. 

Our suggestion:  Navy or Burgundy with Black Peak, Indigo Peak Suit

Tails Tuxedo inspired by John Legend

If you’re looking for a truly unique way to stand out at the Prom, consider wearing an old-school jacket in an updated way! Pair a tails tuxedo jacket with ultra slim pants, a bowtie and cummerbund to bring the new millennium to this 1980s inspired suit style. Our suggestion:  Peak or notch tails jacket in black.  Ditch the pleated shirt for a fitted microfiber in white or black for a more modern look.

White Dinner Jacket inspired by The Great Gatsby

The 1920s were filled with great fashions for both menswear and women's fashion alike.  The white dinner jacket is a classic look that will certainly have you standing out from the prom crowd.
