Step 1: Finding the Right Fit for Me!
Whether you're renting or buying, the most important step of the process is getting properly measured for your suit or tux. We obviously prefer to measure our customers ourselves if at all possible, but we understand that isn't always an option. Step 2: Finding the Right Style for Me!
If you have a picture of the look you're wanting, it will aid in the process significantly. There's a big difference between an Ellen Degeneres type look vs a more feminine bridal style. If you already know what you want, it'll be easier to build the right tux or suit look for you!
After you have your measurements, the next step is a discussion about which features will work best for your body type as well as the tuxedo style you're looking to emulate. For curvy body types, we suggest finding a 1-button tux option. Slimmer pants give a better taper for a feminine pant, but keep in mind that a female hips may mean a looser pant on the waist to accommodate the fit properly.
Step 3: Putting Together The Whole Women's Suit Package
If you're looking to rent (or you have a groomsmaid -- woman on the groom's side), we can rent you a men's tuxedo or suit that looks just like the guys. While it is slightly more tricky to get the right fit, our tuxedo specialists are well versed in the proper sizing and styles that will work best for you!
When you buy your women's suit or tux, we have the ability to tailor fit the suit even better for you. This can mean tapering the pants to fit the legs better, tapering the jacket to accentuate the waist, or even tapering the arms to remove some of the boxy look. If you have the budget and you want a fully custom outfit, we can also provide you with a made-to-measure look that's completely customized!
Really what it all comes down to is the attention to detail and experience with women's suits and tuxes.
